George J. Nader joined the firm as of counsel in 2004. Mr. Nader is a member of the bar for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the U.S. First Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Nader is a member of the Boston and Massachusetts Bar Associations and practices in the areas of Bankruptcy Law (Corporate and Individual), Business Transactions and Commercial Litigation.
Mr. Nader has over twenty years experience specializing in the area of bankruptcy law and commercial litigation in the federal courts. Mr. Nader began his legal career serving as Special Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Boston representing the City in all of its bankruptcy cases. From 1987 to 2004, Mr. Nader worked as an associate and then as partner in Boston law firms, representing business and individual clients, as debtors and creditors in all aspects of bankruptcy cases. He has represented a panel member Trustee in several complex and high profile Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 cases, and represented several Massachusetts financial institutions in bankruptcy cases filed under all Chapters of the Bankruptcy Code. Mr. Nader has helped several small businesses in Massachusetts and New Hampshire reorganize their affairs under Chapter 11, and consumers get a "Fresh Start" under Chapter 7 and Chapter 13. Mr. Nader has also successfully litigated cases and adversary proceedings through trial in U.S. Bankruptcy Courts, and has argued successfully on behalf of his clients before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Nader currently represents small businesses and consumers in Chapter 11, 13, and 7 bankruptcies. Mr. Nader also represents individuals and small businesses in a variety of legal business matters including start-ups, formation and incorporation, contracts, assets and stock purchases, government licensing and regulation, commercial litigation, consumer protection violations, and business dispute resolution.
